About Mr. Young
Mr. Young serves as President and Principal engineer of the firm. He has over 30 years of experience in civil engineering design, municipal engineering representation, and project management.
Mr. Young’s experience includes the evaluation and planning of land development and infrastructure projects; the preparation of capital improvement programs; and research and development for engineering feasibility studies. Mr. Young provides City Engineering representation for Mulvane and Douglas, KS and has over 25-years of municipal city engineering experience.

representing the City of Mulvane, KS (1999 to present) and Douglass, KS (2000-2008 and 2011 to present), including preparation and presentation of engineering reports to City Administrator, Boards and Councils, development of capitol improvement programs, infrastructure design, GIS mapping and construction administration.
Kansas Star Development Civil Design and Project Management
for the construction of wastewater treatment plant, water transmission and force main facilities to serve a $300 million land development project in Mulvane, KS (2012).
Water Supply, Storage, and Treatment Design Memorandum, Civil Design and Project Management
for the City of Mulvane, KS (2014). Performed water system modeling and analysis for locating a 0.50 MG water tower and provided civil engineering design, land planning, and project administration for a 1.50 MGD RO plant.

throughout the Sedgwick County metropolitan area and south-central Kansas, including Wichita, Derby, Mulvane, Haysville, Andover, Douglass, Winfield, Whitewater and Wellington, KS.

including civil design and construction administration for KDOT funded bicycle/pedestrian paths throughout Derby and Mulvane, Derby’s High Park sports complex and Madison Central Park.
Work For Other Firms
Mr. Young served as project engineer on the first composite water tower in KS. Mr. Young was lead civil engineer on the nationally recognized 4.0 MG Water Storage Facility in Hutchinson, KS and was the civil design engineer on a 1.0 million square foot addition to Boeing’s Plant 2 Assembly Facility.
